Address Book for Windows is an advanced contacts manager which offers look and feel of Panther's Address Book.
This software is free, and will remain. It is not supported by Apple Computer Inc. so don't ask them about it !!

Features

• Cards management : native support for vCards 2.1

• Associated photo can be cleared through contextual menu
• Resize pane : you can drag all height of line and not only the small ball

• Note field : full content is shown (and not truncated) and multi-lines support
• Import vCard : solved some problems with Notes and Addresses
• Send email to a group was broken
• Send email to a group : blank emails are not added to the list anymore (resulting in unwanted ",")
• Notify 'Me' Card changes : blank emails are not added to the list anymore, and message text is properly formatted, and can be scrolled
• At startup, text cursor is not blinking on name field anymore
• Navigation buttons are not shown anymore in Directory View

Known Bugs / Limitations

Bugs are progressively fixed according to the following list.
Please don't report me the following bugs as they are already-known, and planned to be fixed ! Thanks :)

Regressions in Beta 3 :

• Search is broken in Directory View
• Backup and restore is disabled
• Automatically format phone numbers is broken

Other Bugs & Limitations :

• If you got plenty of contacts, it may take few seconds to save changes (depending on your system) and display them
• Selecting a card in Directory mode will not select it in the normal view mode
• Picture Editor : blue zoomer orb can't be dragged (Limitation)
• Cards : many cards with same name can coexist sometimes
• Save before creating a new card otherwise everything you entered will be lost (Limitation)
• You can only restore the app by clicking on its name in the taskbar (no right click system menu)
• No icon in taskbar for the app in Windows < XP/2000
• Not compatible with "add-shadow" programs
• When you use 'notify' feature for 'Me' card, last edited field could not loose focus
• Print : font size can't be defined (Limitation)
• Import CSV : Yahoo! address book can't be imported because of <  " " > characters
• Notes : multilines are not vCard compatible  [Fixed in next release]

2. Export your database to a CSV file of vCards and Uninstall previous version
    (Beta 3 uses a new data format, and thus is not compatible with previous versions)
